Bokaja is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines and continuously improve accessibility as our content and features evolve.
Our commitment
We design and build with:
- Semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA where needed
- Keyboard-only navigation and visible focus states
- Sufficient color contrast and scalable text
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Clear form labels, error messages, and instructions
- Captions or transcripts for time-based media where feasible
What we’re doing
- Ongoing reviews: regular checks using automated tools (Lighthouse/axe) and manual testing.
- Content standards: headings in logical order, plain language, meaningful link text, and accessible PDFs where possible.
- Design system: consistent components (buttons, forms, dialogs) with accessible patterns.
Known limitations
While we work to achieve our goal, some areas may still have issues:
- Third-party embeds (e.g., YouTube, Pinterest, Discord) may not fully meet WCAG on all devices.
- Legacy content or user-generated assets might not have complete alternative text or transcripts.
- Download bundles (ZIPs with many PNGs) may not include detailed alt text per file.
If you encounter a problem not listed here, please tell us (see Feedback below).
Compatibility & technical specs
This site is built on WordPress with WooCommerce and the Kadence theme. It should work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and common assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
For the best experience, keep your browser and assistive tech up to date and enable JavaScript and CSS.
Alternative formats & assistance
If you need an alternative format (e.g., a text version of documentation, captions/transcripts for a specific video, or a simplified download), contact us. We’ll provide a reasonable alternative within 2 business days whenever possible.
Feedback and requests
Your feedback helps us improve. If you experience a barrier or need an accommodation, contact:

Please include: page URL, a brief description of the issue, your browser/assistive tech, and any relevant screenshots.
We aim to acknowledge all accessibility messages within 1 business day.
Assessment approach
Bokaja assesses accessibility by:
- Self-evaluation against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Automated testing (e.g., Lighthouse/axe) during updates
- Manual keyboard and screen-reader spot checks on key user flows (navigation, product pages, cart/checkout, account, downloads)
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we add features or content, we review and remediate issues based on user feedback and periodic audits.
